The beautiful Benalmadena
In the past few years Benalmadena transformed into a fantastic holiday destination for those who want to spend a few pleasant days in Spain. You’ll find it just 19 kilometers to the west of the famous Malaga, always ready to impress you with the breathtaking views to spectacular mountains and the crystal clear waters of the sea and with a picturesque area known as the Pueblo. The 45,000 population can turn into 100,000 during the peak season, in the summer, so you can imagine how wonderful Benalmadena is!
The Benalmadena Pueblo
The Pueblo represents a very relaxing attraction for those who want to spend quiet moments during their holiday. This is the famous old village that kept its spirit alive, despite of the newly appeared constructions (resulted from the overuse of the area for touristic purposes). Its charm is still untouched and if you take a few moments for a nice walk along the old parts of the pueblo, you will surely discover extremely friendly tapas bars in the most pure spanish villas atmosphere and quite attractive restaurants that serve delicious local dishes.

As every welcoming touristic destination, Benalmadena has a modern centre great for those who want to do some shopping. Arroyo de la Miel is its commercial centre where you can find anything you want, starting with designer clothes and finishing with beautiful souvenirs for the ones back home. However, the Coast represents the most important attraction in Benalmadena, as this is the place where the nightlife is always active, as well as the place where you will find entertainment opportunities for all the members of your family. Most of them have been awarded the European Blue Flag for the quality of their services, so you can choose the destination without any hesitations. If you travel with your children, take them to the Aquarium; they will love the trip. For a little bit of fun, spend an afternoon at the Tivoli World, one of the biggest theme parks in this part of Spain.
